Description
Anxi Tie Guan Yin Iron Goddess – Floral "Perfume Among Oolongs"Anxi Tie Guan Yin, also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy, is one of the most famous oolong teas from Fujian, China, often celebrated as the "perfume among oolongs." Grown in the rocky soils of Anxi, this iconic cultivar is prized for its intense floral fragrance, vibrant green character and smooth, lingering finish. This tea is carefully crafted with a light oxidation of around 15% and a gentle light roast, allowing the leaf's natural aromatics to shine rather than being covered by heavy roasting. During processing, the fresh leaves go through a traditional alternating shaking-and-resting technique that develops Tie Guan Yin's signature aroma and elegant body, preserving its vibrant emerald-green color.
